If you change your email address, you'll need to verify the new one before it takes effect.

- Find the Change Password section
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice

If you've forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset it via email.
#Can I sign in with Google or Microsoft?
Yes. SimpliHome supports social login with:
- Google — uses your Google account to sign in
- Microsoft — uses your Microsoft/Outlook account to sign in
You can connect a social login to your existing account from Settings → Account, or use it from the start when registering. Social login removes the need to manage a separate password.
#How do I change my preferred language?
- Go to Settings → Preferences (or Account)
- Select your preferred language from the Locale dropdown
- Save
Supported languages: English, German, Spanish, French.
#How do I change my date format?
- Go to Settings → Preferences
- Select your preferred date format (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY)

#How do I change my currency?

- Select your preferred currency

Financial figures across SimpliHome display in your chosen currency. Accounts held in other currencies are converted using live exchange rates.

- Toggle each notification type on or off
- Save

#How do I manage my subscription?
Subscription management is available to the Circle Owner only.
- Go to Settings → Subscription (or Billing)
- View your current plan, payment method, and billing history
- From here you can change plan, update payment details, or cancel
Only the Circle Owner (circle_admin_1) can manage the subscription. Secondary Admins and other members cannot access billing settings.
#How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Settings → Subscription as the Circle Owner
- Choose Cancel Subscription
- Follow the cancellation steps
Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after cancellation.
#How do I upload a profile avatar?
- Go to Settings → Account
- Look for the Avatar or Profile Photo section
- Upload a photo from your device
Your avatar appears alongside your posts in the news feed and in member lists.
#How do I delete my account?
Account deletion is handled through the GDPR / data management section. Go to Settings and look for Privacy & Data or contact SimpliHome support. Deleting your account removes your personal data from SimpliHome.
Note: If you're the Circle Owner, your Circle and all its data would also be affected. Consider assigning a new owner before requesting deletion.
#How do I export my data?
SimpliHome provides a data export as part of GDPR compliance. Go to Settings → Privacy & Data to request an export of your personal data. You'll receive a file containing your information.
#What is the GDPR consent/terms acceptance?
When you created your account, you accepted SimpliHome's terms of service and privacy policy. SimpliHome records your name and acceptance date for GDPR compliance purposes.
