How Location Sharing Works
SimpliHome's location service is built around your family's privacy and consent. Every family member chooses when to share their location — no one is tracked without their knowledge. When sharing is active, their position appears on the shared family map in real-time, visible only to members of your Circle.
Real-Time Family Map
- Live Positions: See every family member's current location on a single shared map, updated in real-time as they move
- Named Places: Recognise common locations like home, school, or the office rather than raw GPS coordinates
- Color-Coded Pins: Each family member has their own colour on the map, matching their calendar colour scheme

Getting Started with Location Sharing
- Go to your SimpliHome Circle and open the Location tab
- Enable location sharing from your device — you'll be prompted to grant location permission
- Family members who also enable sharing will appear on the shared map
- Set up safe zones for places you want arrival and departure alerts for
- Pause or stop sharing at any time from your account settings
