#What is the Personal Planner?
The Personal Planner is your private planning space within SimpliHome. Unlike shared to-do lists that are visible to all Circle members, planner items are personal — only you can see them.
Use it for:
- Personal goals and reminders
- Work tasks that you want to plan alongside household life
- Private reminders that don't belong in the shared calendar or task lists
- Anything else you want to track personally within the app
#How is the Personal Planner different from Todo Lists?

If a task is about the household and everyone should see it — use a todo list. If it's personal — use the planner.
#How do I add a planner item?
- Go to Planner in the navigation
- Click Add Item
- Enter the item title and any notes
- Set a date if it's time-sensitive
- Save
#Can I set due dates on planner items?
Yes. Adding a date to a planner item makes it time-specific. Planner items with dates appear on your personal view sorted by when they're due.
#Can other household members see my planner?
No. Planner items are strictly private to the user who created them. Even Admins cannot see another user's personal planner.
#Can I mark planner items as complete?
Yes. Click the checkbox or use the complete action on a planner item to mark it done. Completed items are removed from the active view.
#Is the planner the same as the Calendar?
No. The Calendar is for events — things that happen at a specific date and time, shared with your Circle. The Planner is for personal tasks and reminders — your own to-do list that lives alongside the app but stays private.
#How many planner items can I have?
There's no limit. Add as many planner items as you find useful.
#Can I use the planner on mobile?
Yes. The planner is part of the main SimpliHome web application, which is fully accessible on mobile browsers. Add SimpliHome to your phone's home screen for quick access.
